If you take screenshots on a daily basis or have used it at least once, you will be pleased to find out about a new jailbreak tweak that offers to enhance your screenshot taking experience and provide you with more features.
The tweak is called Screenshot Extender, developed by Honami. To take advantage of this tweak, you must first install it from Cydia and start messing around with the configurations to customize it according to your liking.
Once installed, you’ll have to access the tweak’s preference pane in the Settings app in order to make the customization. From there, you’ll have the ability to enable or disable the tweak, enable or disable flash when a screenshot is taken as well as customize the color of the flash which is set to white as the default color.
In addition, you get to customize the alert that pops ups when you take a screenshot. This includes enabling/disabling the tweak or choosing the style which includes alert pop-up or notification banner. You can also choose the title and message of the alert that will be displayed as well as the application icon.
These are all the customization and the options that the tweak offers in order to spice up your screenshot taking experience. One drawback of this tweak is that the alert notifications can get in the way if you continuously take screenshots one after the other. Other than that, it’s not bad to give it a try although it doesn’t really offer any major advantage.
If you’re interested to try out the tweak, you can download it from Cydia’s BigBoss repo for free.
