SBRotator for iOS 8 is a new Jailbreak Tweak users can add the ability to rotate your home screen in with landscape or portrait positions. It will allow the icons to rotate was you rotate the device clockwise or counter clock wise. There has been other tweaks in the past which did this same thing but we haven’t had them available in quite some tine for iOS 8.
SBRotator for iOS 8 places a preference panel in the stock settings menu. Inside the settings menu users can configure the rotation for the tweak. It has an enable or disable toggle and other settings for rotating the iPhone. However, users will have to first activate the tweak by tapping the Activate button when you first enter the tweak. This type of activation is getting to be much more popular among developers to fight pirates. It seems to be a great way to block piracy from what I can see.
The Jailbreak tweak allows users to choose from a couple different ways to rotate the icons. They can be rotated by placing the dock at the bottom of the screen or by placing the dock at the right side of the screen for rotation. Users can also choose the animation speeds for rotation.
One of the last things users can choose inside SBRotator for iOS 8 is the ability to disable the rotation in specific applications. These application settings only apply to the devices that lack the two up side by side landscape mode style found in the larger devices. If you are an iPhone 6 Plus owner you may see this tweak as unnecessary since you already have springboard rotation. However, SBRotator for iOS 8 brings the ability to rotate the lock screen to the table.
SBRotator for iOS 8 is available in the BigBoss Repo for $2.99. If you have purchased SBRotator previously then this update should be free. Feel free to leave your thoughts in the comments section below.
