Priority Hub is a new tweak that modifies the notification on your lock screen. It organizes them in a more efficient and user-friendly way. Priority Hub was inspired by the new BlackBerry 10 interface and thanks to the developer Thomas Finch for such an amazing tweak.
Priority Hub allows you to quickly go over your recent notification. It groups the Lock Screen notification on application basic. It allows you to view the notification relevant to each application. It simplifies the iOS 7 lock screen notification into a simple interface and very easy to read it.
Once Priority Hub is installed, you see a preference pane added to the Settings menu. Inside the preference pane you’ll notice 2 options – Show Numbers toggle and Icon Location. Show Number toggle assign a number to each application right on the Lock Screen. As you can see in the picture above, no.1 is assigned to Message application and no.2 is assigned to Whatsapp. The Icon Location setting allows you position the application icons either on the top or bottom of the Lock Screen.
You should be wondering now how these notifications can be cleared. The stock notifications on lock screen featured an ‘x’ on every notification that allowed you to dismiss them. Priority Hub offers such feature but it is hidden. To dismiss a particular notification you simple need to drag down on the notification area of the Lock Screen in which you will reveal the small clear button. Once the button is revealed, release it and all the notifications related to a particular app will be dismissed.
Priority Hub is a simple tweak but makes the Lock Screen notifications easier to follow up and you can access each notification by tapping on the app icons either located at the top or bottom of the Lock Screen.Using Priority Hub is intuitive and sensible; it’s well thought-out and genuinely useful.
If you are a person that receive a lot of notification once you leave your iPhone behind, then this tweak is a must as it organizes them in an efficient way. If you want to give Priority Hub a try, it is available on Cydia for Free. This tweak is worth at least $0.99 but the developer has decided to make it free as a nice gesture towards the community.
Here is our short video demonstrating the Priority Hub features. Be sure to watch it and Happy Sharing.
