Every one of us has an encounter with an unknown caller ringing our phones. What’s even more annoying is the fact that these callers tend to call at instances where we’re expecting an important call or doing something urgent. Because of such calls, it’s important that individuals are able to screen incoming calls so they don’t get annoyed with these unknown callers.
Thankfully, there’s a new jailbreak tweak that will help you get this sorted out. Called the No Caller ID Blocker, this is a free jailbreak tweak that does exactly what its name says. Developed by MohammadAG, this is a very useful tweak that will let you say goodbye to unknown callers for good.
Once you have the tweak installed in your phone, you can block all calls from unknown callers automatically. Apart from not getting annoyed by these calls, you won’t receive a notification that you received such call. If you would like to check for any, however, you can look at your phone app’s “Recents” tab so you can see the history of phone calls you had. From here, you’ll see the list of unlisted numbers that made a call to your phone.
Unfortunately, the tweak does not block calls from numbers that aren’t in your contacts list. If someone calls you from an unmasked number, that number will still appear on your screen once a call is made. The tweak merely blocks callers that hide from masks such as “Unknown Caller” or “Blocker Caller”. This is pretty much the same when someone calls you through a *67 number.
The good news is, No Caller ID Blocker tweak is free to download into your iPhone thanks to the BigBoss repository. You can easily install the tweak and use it right away. It only requires your device to be running on iOS 8 prior to its installation.
