While it’s yet another slow week in the jailbreak community, it still happens to be a pretty interesting one. Especially with the recent release of seventeen jailbreak tweaks that prove to be a very solid experience, users can fully use these tweaks if they want to make their iPhone experience a better one.
Here are some of the new tweaks released for the week so you won’t have to go through Cydia website to look for them.
If you want to be able to control music on your iPhone device using an Android Wear gadget, you can easily do it with Android Wear Utility. This is a free tweak that you can easily download to your device. Plus you can download the original app switcher, Auxo Legacy Edition, for only $0.99 or $1.99. We mentioned this tweak a few weeks ago.
When you’re at home, you really don’t need to secure your device with a passcode. Unfortunately, this isn’t really the case. With the help of AutoUnlock to App 8 tweak, you’ll be able to skip the passcode requirement once your device has been connected to a Wi-Fi network it recognizes. You can download this useful tweak for only $0.99. Or you can download Lock Saver for $0.99 so you can disable certain features that you’re not using in order to preserve battery life.
Meanwhile, if you enjoy lock screen and want to add a more secure and private touch to it, you can download Secret-Lock tweak for free. You can also use exKeyboard (free) so you can use third-party keyboards on lock screen and whenever you’re typing passcodes. Or you can download Transition for $1.99 so you can use one of the 25 original unlock transitions for your phone so it doesn’t get too boring. For added security, you can use Parental ($1.50) so you can restrict app access and settings on your device.
Other free tweaks that you can download to make your iPhone more functional include CustomStatusBar, which allows you to hide items from your Status Bar; HideCCMedia, which hides your media controls in Control Center; NCMeters, which adds simple metrics to your Notification Center; and EventOnStart, which allows you to initiate simple events during startup.
To improve multi-tasking on your device, you can use the free NoKeyPop tweak, which prevents your keyboard keys from popping whenever you type on it. The $5 Multify tweak, meanwhile, allows you to have a side by side multi-tasking feature on your phone. If you’re fond of using Reachability, you can opt for OneHandWizard, which you can download for $3.99. And if you want to create and share CSV, PDF, or Text files using iMessage, you can use ShareMe tweak for free. Meanwhile, the free WritingALetter 2 tweak may seem useless but you’ll discover that it actually brings Clippy to iOS.
