BadgeBoss is another tweak for configuring the styles, colour, location and appearance of application badges. These badges are there to notify you of any unread or missed notification of a particular application. As usual the badges has a red background with a white number within the background. However such concept and colour could look much better by allowing you to configure its appearance.
BadgeBoss is the tweak that gives you the control over the badges colours, appearance, style, concept, font and many more. As usual, installing this tweak adds a preference pane to the settings menu.
From the settings you can enable or disable the tweak. You can also enable and disable the notifications setting. You can also choose to show or hide the badges of specific application. Other features is that you can set your own custom text for notification badges, configure the font, colour, and position of the app badges.
When you want to change the font size of the badges, you will be given a list of differing font size to choose from. When it comes to colour, you will be presented with a colour selector/palette in which you can choose an endless range of colour. The positioning feature allows you to drag the badges anywhere within the application icon.
In the future updates, this tweak is to be given the feature to configure the badges border, transparency and more.
BadgeBoss is packed with many features that gives you a full control over every aspect of the app badges. Keep in mind this tweak comes with a price. So you have to justify whether you are willing to pay for more features or stick with the free tweaks that offer limited application.
