Those of you who has seen the iOS 8 control center concept, it did look awesome combining the control center and app switcher together. Well the good news is that this concept has came to life. Thanks to the jailbreak community and the developers Ian Burns and Xpod putting in their efforts for developing such a sophisticated yet a beauty and gorgeous tweak. By swiping up from the bottom brings up the new control center concept. Even double tapping the home buttons does the same thing. This is how the new concept looks like:
Once this tweak is installed, a preference pane is displayed in the Settings menu. In the preference pane, you can enable or disable this new amazing tweak (I should say, once you try it there is no way you are going to disable it). Then you can select whether to display the new concept when swiping up from the bottom of the screen. Switcher icons will be displayed under the apps preview, in case if you can’t recognize the unused app. Gray background adds a solid gray color background to the control center but disabling it will make the background blur (Your wallpaper will be seen instead but it will be blurred). You can select to have the app previews with corners.
As many of you know, Control center is a place for toggles. In the preference pane itself, you can select which toggles to be displayed and in which order. This is up to you and your likes. The camera, calculator, and clock are currently disabled and incompatible. If you want those to be displayed also on the control center, then you have to install FlipLaunch tweak from Cydia.
I have to say, this is the best tweak I have ever tried so far. Combining the two features together is truly amazing. If you want to give it a try, it is available on Cydia in BigBoss repos for $1.99. It is worth the price.
