Ski Safari developed by Defiant Developers offers great endless play. Its recently had some updates which included an in app shop where you can spend the coins collected from playing. These coins can buy things such as costumes for the skier, boosts, launchpads, cabins, and more. I don’t want to give away all the fun now do I.
Ski Safari begins at the top of a slope were you must make it to the bottom before the avalanche catches you or the obstacles along the way slow you down. Things to slow your skiing adventure are cabins, rocks, and more. There are things along the journey which can expedite your time down the slope. Penguins offer a ride down the slope for a much increased speed. Yeti’s can help make your time better too. When I first saw these I thought of the abominable snowman. They look something like a big foot creature of sort. Anyway, the graphics are great and the game comes as a universal download which has retina display for the new ipad. There are many great things about Ski Safari but sheer adventure and excitement are the two words I can think of which describes it best.
The game is very simple to play yet does a remarkable job holding the players attention every step of the way. Many are comparing Ski Safari to Jetpack Joyride so if you are a fan and enjoy playing JJ give it a try. I strongly recommend trying this game. It’s $0.99 in the app store which makes it even better. This game could have costed Much more and people would have bought it and never said anything. Just goes to show you some developers are a bit more money hungry than others. I’m not bashing the guys for making money I just think apple should have a way to govern cost. They seem to control everything else going on the app store. Watch the video review below.
