Simpson Tapped Out iOS App Review


The Simpsons Tapped Out is a free to play game for the iOS devices. In the game Homer Simpson accidentally  blows up the town of Springfield while playing a game on his MyPad. Now it is your job to built the town of Springfield up from the rubble. This game is a time elapse game, meaning you have to send people on missions which takes real time. Each mission you complete gives you cash an experience points which levels you up. The higher level you are the more cool stuff you can purchase in the shop. The main goal is to build Springfield again, but in your own way.


The Simpsons Tapped Out takes basically everything from the TV show The Simpsons and crams it into a game. Along the game you will meet many residents of Springfield like; Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Moe, Duffman, Lenny, Carl, Ned Flanders, principal Skinner, Nelson, Grandpa, Willie, Prof. Frink, Shawna, Monty Burns, and even “that wiener Milhouse” (Line said by Homer). The list goes on. Some characters are premium characters which you purchase with donuts, yes you heard me right donuts! You buy donuts with real money but here’s a tip for you. To get 10 free donuts tap Homer, don’t click any missions but keep poking Homer until you receive 10 donuts (can only be done once). You will also experience iconic landmarks like the Duff Brewery, Moe’s, Springfield Elementary, Springfield Penitentiary, Android’s Dungeon, Buddhist temple, and once again many more places to discover.  During special parts of the year the game will offer special characters and quest lines, Halloween will give you creepy stuff, Christmas gives you snow, and St. Patrick’s day gives you Tom o’ Flannigans Pub. If you are a Simpsons fan you will enjoy all of the content this game includes.

The Simpsons Tapped out gives an excellent amount of content for a free game. A die hard Simpsons fan will love all of the jokes that refer to older episodes, within the game and so will never viewers. If you haven’t already picked this app up, do so now you won’t regret it.
