SemiRestore10-lite Allows Install iOS 10 – 10.2 without Losing Jailbreak iPhone, iPad, iPod
It’s now possible to get your device back to its original iOS without losing your jailbreak by using SemiRestore10-lite. Although this doesn’t completely wipe the device clean and start completely fresh, it will allow users to start over without losing the jailbreak. This is as close as we can get at the moment to a stock restore without losing the jailbreak completely. So, if you feel your device is lagging or restarting for no apparent reasons you may want to consider following the guide below to correct these issues. Due to Apple not signing the previous firmware’s anymore it’s now impossible to restore without using such tools as these.
Many users mess up their iOS Devices installing bad tweaks and such when using a jailbreak and then expect it to magically restore back to a jailbroken state, until now this wasn’t possible.
A new tool called SemiRestore10-lite has been released by Coolstar, it’s similar to Coolstars previous tool named ‘Semi-Restore’, the new version is Semi restore10-lite which means it is still in beta stages, but unlike previous versions of the tool; this one does not require a computer and is fairly simple to use.
Many users think Semi-Restore is the same as Saurik’s Cydia Eraser tool but it is not, Cydia Eraser restores your device to stock iOS and removes the jailbreak but semi restore does not restore your device to completely stock version as it leaves the jailbreak and its main dependencies.
Semirestore10-lite is very helpful to restore your iDevice if it’s stuck in a bootloop or if you want to clear up your device due to lag issues or random crashes that may occur if you install too many tweaks that aren’t compatible with each other.

Some people have not updated their devices above iOS 10.2 in hopes for a stable and final Jailbreak release from Luca Todesco. We don’t know how long it will take for him to release it, but the ones who wanted to jailbreak their devices and didn’t because there isn’t a stable release, you can now do it as if the device messes up later you can restore it back to the firmware you were on.
If people are interested, a non-Lite version of SemiRestore can be made for iOS 9.3.3-10.2 that would be similar to the 5.0 – 9.0.2 version
