Getting the right kind of information about the different domains of the IT industry is never an easy endeavor and the Apple Company is one of the most prominent examples of this idea. Recently, the company is once again in the limelight because of the iPhone 8 and many are trying to figure out what the new device could be bringing to the smartphone market. However, recently a series of very credible reveals and leaked information, all coming from the heart of the company, managed to paint an impressive picture about the upcoming Apple device.
In this regard, aside from the leaks about the detailed specs of the device, the information managed to show that artists and designers worked hard on the new installment of the iPhone 8, which includes a significant reliance on augmented reality and artificial intelligence. This was also followed by the news that the company was focused on creating a display design that is bezel-less and at the same time, highly functional.
With this in mind, Gabor Balogh, a Hungarian designer, has made an iPhone that employs the AR and AI features along with everything else that was rumored to come. This concept presents a very ingenious camera solution that would work in an automatic fashion along with a display that covers the entire length and width of the body. Both of these would work to present the users with everything located behind the device, which would end up as complete translucency. With this, users would have the impression that they can actually see through the entire device.
The same concept would be taken a step further with the integration with Siri on a much deeper level, including elements of augmented reality. This way, users could employ Siri and the camera to identify landmarks and then have important information presented on the screen immediately. In the bottom part of the screen and around the Home button, a virtual space would be located where widgets could be presented using contextual logic, which could include social media sharing, map use and much more.
The entire concept makes complete sense because Apple showed its commitment to augmented reality and other immersive technologies even before this news of the iPhone 8 came about. This makes it more than believable as the blueprint for the next big device that will come out of the company. When it comes to hardware specs of the iPhone 8, the rumors point to an edge-to-edge type OLED display and the integration of a Home button that will be this time completely virtual.
All this shows that the iPhone 8 is going to be a more than impressive whenever it actually comes out.
