Apple has recently launched an update for iOS 7.1 this week dubbed as iOS 7.1.1. Despite the fact, the jailbreak community are less likely to focus on jailbreak for iOS 7.1

Evad3rs – iOS 7
A member of the Evad3rs ( a group that has provided us jailbreak after jailbreak) has hinted that they (the group) have opted to wait on the jailbreak for iOS 7.1 and turning their focus on the next operating system (iOS 8) which is believed to be released with the launch of the new iPhone. However, keeping this in mind there might be some individual who can get their hands on the jailbreak codes and provide a jailbreak tool for iOS 7.1. But anyhow we shouldn’t give up our hopes. According to idigitaltime interview with one of the Evad3rs group member known to many as pod2g, this is what he said:
“For iOS 7.1, I don’t know…there is a big chance the evad3rs wont focus on it as a team…expect that for iOS 8.”
Additionally:
“If one day, I find myself bored and can put enough time and energy into it, I have some ideas for how to make a 7.1 jailbreak … depending on how it has been fixed and other external events.”
So it is in our best interest to remain patient and don’t give up our hopes for iOS 7.1 jailbreak. According to other news and media, it has been indicated that iOS 8 will be released with the launch of new iPhone and if Apple follow their same launching strategy and time then we can be sure that it will be anytime during the early summer. Now that the Evad3rs has hinted that they transferring all the time, efforts and energy to the development of iOS 8 jailbreak, they have set some standards or border on when they want to release and it will be surprising if they released it sooner than later. The introduction of iOS 7 for new iPhone caught everyone off guard and everyone were very impatient for the jailbreak that they even created a funding event for the jailbreak community ahead of it’s release. Meanwhile, those on iOS 7.0.x are busy with cydia and the tweaks. With these tweaks, users have advantage on modifying every concept and feature of the iOS 7 interface and make it more appealing and convenient than the stock iOS 7. What do you think will Evad3rs do with iOS 8 jailbreak? Will they release it sooner or later than what they did with iOS 7 jailbreaks? Do you think it is a wise decision to focus on iOS 8 and leave behind iOS 7.1.x ? Leave us your comment in the box below so we can know what you are thinking and recommending.
