Instructions for downgrading iOS 8 Beta 4 to iOS 7.1.2
1. Backup your device
2. visit http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ and download the correct ipsw for your device. I recommend saving this you never know when you may want to use it again.
3. Connect your device to your Mac/PC
4. Hold down option/alt key while inside itunes and select the ipsw file you previously downloaded
5. The rest is pretty much just follow what it says to do on the screen.
6. Be sure to Restore your device in order to get al your mail settings and iMessage conversation threads back on the device. These will not magically appear you must tell the device to restore from the backup you made before you started this process.
Watch the video below for a look first hand at how this works and what each step does. Just download your ipsw, backup your device and follow me as I downgrade my device. Feel free to ask questions if you need help. Leave them on my iPhonecaptain site if you want them answered.
