If you’ve gotten used to copying and pasting stuff on your iOS device, you’ll be pretty much surprised to discover that it isn’t as simple as it once was. Especially if you’ve downloaded and installed iOS 8 on your device, you’ll be disappointed with the number of times this action will fail on you. You might even get annoyed with this because it will only complicate your life. Since copying and pasting is meant to make your tasks simpler, the availability of the feature on your iOS 8 device may be too much to bear.
Thankfully, there’s a new app that promises to take the place of the action. Called Copy & Paste Clipboard Widget, the app now makes it easier for you to copy multiple lines of texts, addresses, dates, images, and more. You no longer have to individually copy and paste each item as the app has been configured to take care of this task.
Once you’ve downloaded Copy and Paste Clipboard Widget iOS app, you simply need to add it to your Notification Center. You can do this by tapping on ‘Edit’ and the green ‘+’ button. This will add the app to your notification center. After that, you can already start using the app anytime you want.
Now when you want to copy an item, you simply have to use the native copy pop-up window that appears when you choose the item. Each time you have copied an item, it will appear on the widget. Unlike the previous copy-paste function, the app allows you to continue copying items that you would like to paste on another editor.
Pasting an item is as easily done as copying it. All you need to do is swipe down to access your Notification Center. This will bring up the clipboard widget, where you’re free to tap on the item you would like to paste. After this, you just need to swipe up so you can insert the item using the native paste option on the iOS software. The good thing about this function is that you can do it several times so you can paste all the items that you have copied. Once you’re done with an item you have copied, you can easily remove it from your clipboard widget by simply tapping on the red ‘-‘ button.
With the problems iOS 8 has produced, having an app like Copy & Paste Clipboard Widget is truly a big help. There’s no shock if it’ll reach the number one spot on the App Store soon. We hope it does!
You can download Copy & Paste Clipboard Widget on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch device running on iOS 8.0 or later for only $1.99.
