ColorBadges is an iOS 7 tweak made by David Goldman and is available on cydia for $0.99. ColorBadges gives you the ability to customize the app badges color to that of the icon color. For instance if you have a badge on the “Phone” icon, the color of the badge will be green, which is the same color as the “Phone” icon.
What makes the tweak more outstanding is that it adds a white border around each app badge giving it an extraordinary look. Some of you might be wondering how the color of the folder badge gets customized. This depends on the position of the app in the folder. Suppose you have a red color app icon followed by a green color app icon. Since the red color app icon is the first app in the folder, it customizes the folder badge to red. If the green color app icon was to be position before the red one, then the folder badge will be green. A smart customization I say.
This tweak requires no configuration, all you need to do is to purchase and install it. Once installed, your device needs to respring and you see the effects of this tweak in action.
