Charge iOS Battery From 0% to 100%
Battery life has proven to be one of most talked about problems of the iPhone. Users seem to always need more battery power or want more battery power. As we have discussed many times her on the site, battery life can be preserved several different ways. One of the most obvious being turn off auto brightness and adjust manually. Try to adjust your brightness as low as you can stand without effecting your ability to use the device. While this isn’t a post for stating the ways to preserve battery power, we do have several posts which cover this topic. You can find those post by following the link here.
Every time we get an iOS update users tend to use much more battery power. This could solely be from the extra amount of time users are on their device checking out the new firmware. Users should realize it takes lots of battery power to nose around the new iOS. Just because you aren’t playing a game or something which requires user interaction, the iPhone is still using battery to light the display. So keep that in mind. Charging the iPhone in less than a minute from 0% to 100% may not be too far away.
This could all be a distant memory thanks to the new charger being developed by StoreDot. StoreDot is an Israeli based company and they demonstrated their technology at the Think Next Conference, showing that it works accordingly. Once the charger has been released its suppose to charge any smartphone battery in less than a minute without any trouble. StoreDot believes they have built a charger which can do just that without damaging the battery in any way.
Charging iPhone Battery Under Minute
StoreDot is currently only a prototype, so its likely it will be at least a couple years before consumers can get their battery using paws on one. Its predicted to be around twice the price of a normal charger buts still not a price tag which would break the bank. Personally, I am visualizing charging stations in large retail stores which users would pay a fee for a charge up, kind of like pumping gas.
Most of us can agree it would be almost unbelievable to charge a device from 0% to 100% in less than a minute. The video below shows just that.
